Activities of Shihan Adnan Tarsha and his Team in the
4th Arabian Kyokushin
Championship in Tunisia 2009
Shihan Adnan Tarsha received an
invitation from Mr. Ahmad Bougnaim president of the Arab Kyokushin
Karate Federation to the 4th Arabian Kyokushin Championship
which will take place in the city of Mahdia in Tunisia on Saturday and
Sunday 2-3/5/2009. The preparations started for the participation in
this championship. In Tunisia a team of 4 competitors have
arrived and 2 photographers in addition to the team leader Shihan Adnan
Tarsha. The program of activities
for 5 days
was as follows:
- On the 2nd day of arriving there was a judging course where it was
explained some of the laws relating to matches and Kata, and Shihan
Adnan Tarsha presented an explanation and remarks about the judging of
Kata.

- On the 3rd day which was the first day of the championship, a Tunisian
radio station made an interview with
Shihan Adnan Tarsha. Then everyone moved to
the stadium which will be held the championship which was opened by His
Excellency Mr. Abdulhameed Salama, Minister Counselor to the President
of the Republic and President of the Tunisian Olympic Committee and was
accompanied by his Excellency Mr.
Attayeb Alalwee governor of Mahdia city
and a number of officials in the presence of Mr.
Othman Assad general
secretary of Arab Sports Confederation, his Excellency
Mr. Ahmad Bougnaim
president of
Arab Kyokushin Federation,
Shihan Sadok Kouka president of Tunisian Kyokushin Federation and the
leaders of the Arab delegations. The
elimination bouts
were held on this day between the participants in addition to the Kata
championship for males and females.
- On the 4th day which was the 2nd day of the championship, there was
a breaking boards, then the championship finals began for males and
females. The minister and the governor and others presented the cups to
the three teams winners, as Shihan Adnan Tarsha presented the medals and
certificates to the winners of the Open-weight. Abdulaziz Tarsha win the
cup of "The Best Kyokushin Technician" in the Arabian Championship.

On the same day there was a lunch in Mahdia hotel on the honor of the
minister, the governor, Mr. Asaad and the leaders of the Arab
delegations. In the afternoon a tourism tour was organized for the Arab
teams in the old city of Mahdia and the Ottoman castle. Where everyone rode the
tourist train to the old town and received by a number of municipal
officials who accompanied the delegations on a tour on foot to visit the
monuments and have an explanation to Mr. Adnan Tarsha who was in the
forefront of this delegations. Photos Page
- On Monday the 5th day, a meeting of Arab delegations in the presence
of Mr.
Ahmad Bougnaim,
Mr. Othman Asaad, Mr. Sadok Kouka, Mr. Adnan Tarsha and the rest of the
leaders of Arab delegations in addition to a group of officials and
members of the Tunisian Kyokushin Federation. There were speeches from
the organizers and the leaders of delegations, and there was a speech
for Mr. Tarsha then Mr. Bougnaim thanks Mr. Tarsha for his strong and
eloquence speech.

At the end of this meeting Shihan Tarsha informed that the governor of
Mahdia city is requested to meet with him at his office, Mr. Kouka
accompanied him in this visit. The meeting held with the governor who
was glad in talking with Mr. Tarsha about religion, culture and Islamic
books, causing the meeting to extend about an hour, and Mr. Tarsha
commended the governor and what he heard from him and thanked him for
this meeting.

After this meeting, the teams prepared
and went to the town (Eljem), where the archaeological Roman wrestling
stadium, and there was a training camp led by the Japanese Shihan Goda.

After returning to the hotel, Shihan Adnan Tarsha held a
closed-door meeting with Shihan Sadok Kouka continued for two hours in
which Mr. Tarsha explained a number of important points and suggestions
for the good of the championship, as well as a number of necessary
remarks, and he specified some mistakes which can be prevented in the
next championships. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Kouka assured to Mr.
Tarsha that he had benefited much from what he said and promised that he
will works according to these matters in the coming championship. |
