Shihan Adnan Tarsha organized The 3rd Elite Kyokushin Karate Championships in Riyadh on Friday January 4, 2008, under the auspices of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz. (7) nationalities participated as following: Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Mali, Yemen and Iraq. These championships consisted 2 championships:

1- The Elite Youth Championship.
2- The Elite Men Championship.

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud honored the winners with trophies and the rest of  participants with gold medals, and His Highness also presented certificates of appreciation to the referees and judges of the championship. Following that Shihan Adnan Tarsha presented a memorial plate to HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz.

The presence of His Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdul Aziz was a great factor to encourage the players who competed strongly in front of him to win the first places to receive the trophies from the hands of his highness, so that the championship had the fastest knockdown in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and was less than two seconds only. His Highness Prince  Abdulaziz bin Sattam congratulated Shihan Adnan Tarsha on the success of this championship, and praised the excellent organization he did it for its successful, wishing to continue these meetings, and increasing the number of participants.

It is noteworthy that Shihan Adnan Tarsha is the founder of the art of (Kyokushin Karate) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the first who began teaching this art since 1976. He trained His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz, holder of the Black Belt, and main supporter of the activities of  this beautiful sport.
