On Friday,
2/7/2021, and on the occasion of the establishment of the (Saudi
Kyokushin Committee), the Kyokushin instructors and students in Riyadh
held a ceremony honoring Shihan Adnan Tarsha in fulfillment of his
generosity and in honor of his efforts since the year 1976 and his
tireless work in training and establishing the art of Kyokushin Karate
in the Kingdom of Saudi Arab.
The ceremony was opened
with the recitation of the Noble Qur’an by the player Khaled Al-Hammad, then
Shihan Adnan Tarsha gave a speech on this occasion, and then some of the players
told their experience and their beginnings in training. Then Mr. Nayef Al-Houti
presented the memorial plate and gifts to Shihan Adnan. In turn, Mr. Al-Houti
received the memorial plate on the occasion of his selection as a member of this
committee. This ceremony wasn't without physical and informational benefit, as
competitions were organized in physical strength and endurance exercises, as
well as a competition in answering 50 questions about the art of Kyokushin, and
cups and medals were distributed to the winners. The ceremony concluded with a
dinner feast.
